Castle Heights neighborhood is a hidden gem nestled between Beverlywood, Cheviot Hills and Culver City in the South Robertson (SORO) area of Los Angeles. It was established in 1922 with the majority of the homes being built from the 1920s through the 1940s. The final tract development of homes was completed in 1962. Castle Heights is today comprised of over 900 homes, several duplexes, apartments and condos, a senior residence, a variety of restaurants & businesses, and historic Hamilton High School. Castle Heights Elementary School, another local source of pride, also enjoys strong parental and neighborhood support. Situated on the Westside of Los Angeles, Castle Heights neighborhood is close to the new EXPO light rail line with two nearby stations to serve our community – Culver City and Palms (now under construction and which will connect Santa Monica to downtown).
CHNA is a volunteer organization started in 1979 to build community among the residents of Castle Heights.

Has the CHNA decided to implement the monitoring service? There have been 2 incidents on 24th Street (where I live ) and before looking into getting the street monitored I would like to know what the status is on this. Thanks.
It has been put on hold for lack of community support at the present.
